- Annotation: This article provides some very useful information on how telematics work in our society and dives into finding new ways to implement it across the world. The main point of this article is to introduce a new “open architecture” of telematics that can be used to more efficiently transmit large amounts of data. With more ease of access in telematics, this idea can also be used to safely implement tracking services that work over wider areas and with more speed. I believe that this article provides an intuitive idea to use telematics more efficiently, especially in mobile devices. This article is a great example of how telecommunications are always changing and moving forward. This article was very helpful to me because it gave a great idea of how telematics and innovations in the field are progressing. This article was published in 2014, so I do not think it would be a great article to use now, especially when dealing with modern telecom. With that being said, I am still glad I have found this article because it shows just how fast the telecommunications field is changing.
