My initial research idea was how athletics/celebrities lives differ from the impact of technology platforms. I have decided to change the research project up a little bit to a more concentrated area. That and I felt like there wasn’t a lot of data in that field. I decided to go with” Has Smartphone affected the way we communicate with each other”.
I particular want to find out if we communicate better or worse with smartphones. Ultimately how we communicate in person with each other. A lot of people are addicted to social media sites like Facebook and I believe sometimes we don’t properly communicate very well in person rather its through work or our friend/family.
I have not found any research related to my idea quite yet.
The three databases I would start with in the library are:
- Applied Science & Technology Full-Text: This obviously a technology database and I like how the search function work in this database. Very easy to follow.
- Computer Source: This database follows the current technology trends and also is very easy to navigate.
- Faulkner’s Advisory for IT Studies: The database is primarily has technology research studies that would help me with this research project.
