My initial research idea was going to be related to artificial intelligence and where it is currently taking the world. However, I fear that is a very broad topic and I will need to narrow it down. I still really want to do something in the AI section so I think that the best part to look in closer at would be how AI is used in healthcare. I would love to find out everything from how AI is used to collect data for the hospitals, how it is used to make doctor/patient lives easier in their everyday work. If that does not pan out and be as interesting as I hoped then I think that it would be great to dive into what AI will potentially look like in the future in healthcare or what the objective is with AI for the future.
I have not started to much research in depth at this moment as I just narrowed down my research subject. I will use the Forsyth Library Database to gain knowledge over this topic from credible sources. I believe the AccessMedicine database in the Forsyth Library will prove to be very useful as it is filled with information relating to healthcare. Another database I believe will prove to be beneficial is the Applied Science & Technology database as it is filled with information regarding all sorts of technology including AI. A database that I will also be using is the Topic Search database. It is filled with tons of information on a very large list of topics that is not really narrowed down to anything.
Hello Austin,
I am doing AI as well! For databases, I think you are on the right track. I am most likely going to use the same ones. One suggestion on a database would be JSTOR; I do not know if they have stuff for AI in healthcare, but they had a lot on AI. Can’t wait to read your research. My topic on AI is more for businesses and how they use them for productivity.
Healthsource: Nursing/Academic Edition should also be very useful database for you.
