This article explains the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on people regarding social media usage due to the many lockdowns throughout the country. It talks about the way the human brain is wired, and the health problems that arose out of decreased social interaction in 2020. It has a lot of relevant statistics and detailed information highlighting the good and bad things about our increased social media usage. My research will be enhanced if I use this article as support for how social media usage affects mental health.
