For the most part, the objective of this assignment seems pretty straightforward. I admit I’m not an expert in any form of social studies, and typically don’t have much interest in delving into statistics or data in general. However, I think this will give me a chance to stretch some mental muscles that I haven’t before. I hope to find materials and studies that peak my interest and get things churning in my mind so that I can be a more effective in creating an interesting proposal paper. The lack of a page requirement will certainly make things more interesting. Might have to be extra disciplined to make sure I cover all the material.
You will need to review others’ data to help you evaluate the quality of the work, but this is just to propose research you could do down the line. As a result, it generally doesn’t require you to collect or process any new data.
