Using peer-reviewed Scholarly References

There is a lot of information on the final paper! Is there one place we can find all the information on the final paper? Also, I’m struggling with the peer-reviewed scholarly references. Are we ONLY allowed to use peer-reviewed scholarly references? If so, are we only allowed to use references from the FHSU Forsyth Library Databases? This will greatly affect the topic of my paper, per finding the references.

I am jumping around to Blackboard, Multiple Weekly Posts, & Videos, and not sure if I am understanding exactly what is required on the final paper. I do think I will learn many interesting things about my research topic. I am finding it challenging to settle on a topic when I am not sure about what references are acceptable. I do understand you want at least 8 pages, not including title and reference pages. I understand you want credible references, but not sure about the restrictions on where we get them from and if they can only be peer-reviewed scholarly articles. I understand the final paper must include some type of survey, although we are not required to actually do the survey. I also understand the paper must be formatted APA style, 12 pt, New Times Roman.

  1. I think I already clarified some of that in our emails over the past week or two. However, feel free to grab an appointment on my Calendly page for further feedback, if you like.

One reason I like to make sure everyone reviews the instructions now is because such a project is so new to you. But, because you have the next couple of months to work on this, just take one area of instruction at a time.
