Thanks for your review of the Bivariate Chi-Square test and errors. You presented the difference between Type 1 and 2 errors in way that I understood and their significance. Like you said, random samples aren’t infallible, so measures have to be put in place to avoid Type 1 and 2 errors as much as possible. Setting a lower significance level is a way to reduce the probability of a 1 or 2 error.
