Topic: 46&47

In this presentation of topic 46 Interviews In Qualitative Research & topic  47 Other Methods of Collecting Qualitative data. I quickly explained the three types of interviews and how they are conducted. I talked a little bit about how questions should be worded and then moved on to topic 47. In topic 47 I explained the other methods of collecting qualitative data.  there were two other ways to collect data. In each one I quickly went over how they are conducted and gave examples of ways how to collect the data.

  1. Hey Justin,
    The presentation you made about your topics was simple and easy to understand. I understood the type of interviews you discussed better because the text was confusing at times when I was reading this topic. Compared to my speech, I feel that I spoke much faster. In contrast, you had a much slower approach which is great for people not to get overwhelmed with information. I think I prefer using a Semi-structured interview if possible because I would want my interview to have some structure with a flow of conversation. Recording an interview is helpful for researchers because they may miss important information they did not listen to during the consultation. Thus, the recording allows the researchers to listen to the recording for any information they missed. I liked the example you provided where you mentioned how the phenomenological approach is the perspective someone has on the world. This example made the term much easier to understand.
