Topic 50: Designing Case Study Research

In this presentation on Topic 50: Designing Case Study Research, I will discuss the definition of a case, the focus of a Case Study, and why people would want to conduct this type of research. I also explain the idiographic and nomothetic approaches within Case Study Research while providing examples for these concepts. Finally, I finish my presentation by giving an example of a Case Study over Phineas Gage and explaining why this story is this type of research.

 

About Peyton Rohan

I graduated from Eastland High School in the year 2020. Throughout High School, I have always been on the A honor roll. Throughout High School, I played a variety of sports such as basketball, football, golf, and track. My greatest interest was watching and playing basketball. I started my attendances at Fort Hays State University during the fall of 2020 and have been on the Dean's Honor Roll for the past two semesters. I now plan on graduating from Fort Hays State University during the year 2023 with a Bachelor of Computer Networking and Telecommunications degree that mainly focuses on Cybersecurity. I would say throughout the years of my education is that I am a persistent and hard worker, who gets assignments and projects done.

    the presentation you gave was great. even though you commented on my presentation I would say that you talked at a decent rate. I did not find it overloading with information. I liked how you gave multiple examples about the type of research. I found it really helpful to understand about that type of research. other than that you did a great job with this presentation.
