I am Lance Perkins, a Informatics major focusing on Web and Mobile Application Development. I live in northwest Illinois with my spouse and our dog and cat. My spouse and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in a few months, which is exciting. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and hiking with my spouse, playing disc golf, poker, and chess.
I do not have a specific topic yet, but I want to research something that looks at the use of computers in gaming, specifically at poker and chess. Both are games I enjoy quite a bit, and both of seen players get exponentially better as more technology has been added to both games that allow people to study and find mistakes at a faster rate.

I am getting the same degree, been a fun ride as I am finally in my last semester. Interesting topics for research project, I have always been fascinated with chess and checkers gaming online. I know with a lot of gaming its very competitive and you can win some big time money in it if you know what your doing.
