Deadline: Monday, February 28 at 2pm Central
First, we have some reading. After you finish reading parts 6 & 7 of our current text, move on to Part 8. There is a PowerPoint about this chapter on measurement. It’s a long complex chapter, so feel free to only go through about half of it this week. You can read the second half next week along with the shorter, Part 9 of the text.
Additionally, you have your 3rd Quiz this week. It covers part 6&7 of the Patten Textbook. There are a total of 30 questions, you will have 45 minutes to finish the quiz. This is an open book, open note quiz. Make sure you have read the study tips for the Quiz which could be found in Bb and this blog post.
Want help to find an article to review? Hopefully, you watched the Basic Searching video in last week’s module. You can also review our in-class meeting on Wednesday, September 22 for more ideas of how to find an article and which articles would be helpful.
For additional videos, you can follow the library resources in Bb or email me for additional class recordings from previous semesters. Just let me know what topics you’d like more information on if you email.

Study Tips for Quiz:
To prepare for the quiz, be sure to review the textbook and the PowerPoints! Have some easy-to-reference notes, too.
You should not expect to do well on the quiz if you are not pretty familiar with all of that material. While the quiz is open-book, it does not provide you with much time to find the answers. Be sure you are ready to answer the questions on your own.
The quiz will be available one week after it is due. This can help you review your answers and take notes to help you with the mid-term. Once you finish the quiz, you should be able to review each question, whether you got credit for your answer, and what options were available.
All quizzes are multiple-choice. While some questions may be accidentally set to multiple-answer, only one answer will be the correct answer. Be sure to choose the best possible answer.
