ExpressVPN provides their costumers with  secure virtual private networks. A virtual private networks establishes a secure tunnel between your device and the internet. VNPs protect everything you do only. It is one of the few ways if not the only way to keep your privacy on the internet. ExpressVPN market themselves as a privacy and security tool that encrypts user’s web traffic and mask their IP address. One of the things that makes ExpressVPN different from its many competitors is that they run their VPN servers only on volatile meow (RAM) unlike other services which use hard drives. They hold the largest amount of servers located all over the world.
My interests in this employer started after the news broke out that social media companies were selling all of our information to other companies without out consent. I think our privacy is one of the most important rights we have and we should be able to have on the internet. ExpressVPN does an excellent job on protecting their customer’s privacy. -*-
One of the things that I found to be the most interesting is that while I looked up the amount of employees at ExpressVPN I did not find a consistent number. Some sites gave me 3, 44 and one gave me 100. Their employee are spread around the world, but I don’t think they amount of employees the have is shared with the public. I think the research I did on the company strengthen my interest in the employer because I learned all the various things they do in order to keep their customers privacy secured and how they aren’t all in just one location. They are in multiple countries and that makes a privacy keeper around the world.

Apple is a company that every one has heard of. They are a multiple technology company who’s first focus was on creating the best personal computer. Apple is best known for the their iPhone and how revolutionary it was when they release their very first model. They also make computers, laptop, smartwatch and computer software. Apple is also known for popularizing (GUI) graphical user interface. One of their most popular products is the iPod.
The unusual fact about the company is that the last 15 of being CEO Steve Job was only paid $1. Being paid $1 made him qualify for the company’s health benefits. I also found out that if you smoke around an apple compeer it void the warranty. Good thing I do not smoke. Overall I had known a good amount of information about Apple. Doing more of a research on the company I found out some interesting stories.
Throughout the whole research I found out that Apple is working on their own search engine. They are doing so because of what is going on with google and the antitrust authorities threaten multibillion-dollar payments that google gives to apple in order to make them their products default search engine. One of the first question I would like to ask is what is the future holding for apple. They have various devices and now with the search engine being beloved it seems they are willing to try new things. Another question would be is how serious they take their costumers privacy. We are in a time where personal privacy is valued more and more. Some companies sell their costumers privacy and others protect them. I think the research on the company strength my interest. I think the fact that apple is doing more than just iPhones is great. The possibility of  working different things is quite exciting.
