Research Proposal Outline
Research Purpose
The purpose of my research is to determine how introducing machine learning into clinical environments could affect healthcare. The research will be conducted using a qualitative method because at the end of the study, multiple members of the clinical staff in different job roles will be interviewed to determine how machine learning impacted their workflows.
Method of Measurement
The research will be conducted using a group of twenty members of the clinical staff, a combination of doctors and nurses, so that both groups can provide perspective on the machine learning. After the test group has worked with machine learning incorporated into their workflows, we would then conduct interviews to determine how the clinical staff felt about the addition. Did it help? Did it make anything worse?
