While extensive research has already proven that graphics produce different reactions in different people, many gaps remain. Which graphics appeal to which groups? The smaller the group, the less is known. My study proposes to invite medical professionals to complete a survey which will require only five to ten minutes. The questionnaire, designed for completion on a smartphone, will include fifty sets of images. Each set will contain three graphics of the same object, illustrated in different styles, and participants will select the item they find most attractive. A spreadsheet will receive and process the data, enabling the researcher to sort and select the demographic and discover the particular preferences of that group. The conclusions will empower web designers to tailor websites and apps to the preferences of the target medical professionals, improving the quality of communication and user experience. Knowledge gained from this research project will enhance the ability to access information for medical professionals who refer to websites in the course of their workday. Applying this information to website design will also boost sales figures for companies who sell their products to medical professionals.
