In my last and final blog post, I will present my final hypothesis for my proposal, a flow chart that I will use to present my research proposal focus, and a discussion of my methods of measurement for which I will use for my proposal.
Hypothesis:
The recent pandemic has thrown a wrench in the healthcare system due to its rapid growth. While there are vaccines given all over the world, there is no one place to go to look up proof that an individual has received the vaccine. A legitimate nationwide database used to track this vaccine would be beneficial for healthcare systems and individuals.
Flowchart:
Research:
Most of the research I am going to do is on how easy it is to buy a fake covid vaccine passport online and falsify that you have received it and how to be on the lookout for the fakes. Also, while working in the healthcare field, I realized that there is a database for prescription drugs that all 50 states have access to. This database can tell you if a person has gone someone for a controlled substance that way you are not prescribing the same person a narcotic if they just received it. This is why I think there needs to be a database for vaccines, for several reasons.
Methods of Measurement:
Research in my proposal will be data collection and dissemination. This will be a representative sample and will be quantitative research as we are collecting and analyzing numerical data. However, we are not analyzing, just collecting data. The method of measurement would be validity, due to the accuracy of the information we are gathering.
Hi Kelsie,
I hope you’ve found a good study to replicate to get in the area you want to discuss.
