My research topic is “Regulations for artificial intelligence”. For this final research, I will focus more on the regulations part of my research. For the previous researches, the focus was the dangers of artificial intelligence. I did find a handful of sources that can be useful to cover the dangers of artificial intelligence but the research is also about the needed regulations for artificial intelligence. The new searches were proven to be helpful. I used the subject of Computer Science and then choose Computer Science as well.
The database that I used was EBSCOhost. I have found most of the sources that I will use in my research paper on this database. I performed a boolean search for Artificial AND Intelligence AND Regulations. The research results of 133 sources, 95 Academic Journals, 37 Magazines, and 12 Trade Publications. The source that led me to a subject term to use was:
Etzioni, O. (2018). Point: Should AI technology be regulated? Communications of the ACM, 61(12), 30–32. https://doi-org.ezproxy.fhsu.edu/10.1145/3197382

The same database EBSCOhost was used. The source provided me with the subject “Artificial Intelligence Laws”. The subject search regulated in 9 results. 7 Magazines, 3 Academic Journals, and 1 Conference Paper. I found one new source that will be useful for my research.
O’Sullivan, A., & Thierer, A. (2018). Counterpoint: Regulators should allow the greatest space for AI innovation. Communications of the ACM, 61(12), 33–35. https://doi-org.ezproxy.fhsu.edu/10.1145/3241035
This final research that traced a certain subject after finding a useful source is helpful to find new sources. I will be tracing more subjects to find better and new sources to use for my final research. I hope to find new sources as I trace more subjects. Once I refine the results I think I will find a solid source that is specific to my topic of Artificial Intelligence Regulations.
It looks like the subject search was good for reducing the number of results. Did you find that the subject search returned more relevant results than the previous searching we’ve been doing?
Your post cut off before the list of subjects though.
