Week 8: MidTerm and Discussion

March 12 marks the middle of this semester. We are almost halfway through. That also means it’s time for the midterm exam. Additionally, we have a small discussion this week. It includes responses to last week’s discussion and the start of a new one.
Finally, I’d appreciate your feedback on a survey. It can help me improve the class and help me assess some of the teaching methods I’m utilizing this semester. Additionally, as a research survey approved by the IRB for educational research,  it may help you better understand some of the concepts in this class, such as informed consent and how Likert scales work.

Deadline: March 16 at 2 pm Central

This week’s discussion:

  • Replies: Reply to two group members‘ discussion question posts from last week.
    • Add to the conversation and bring your own perspective or evidence.
  • Posts: You should have begun reviewing the proposal instructions last week. Create a post to note anything you find confusing, what you think will be most challenging, or what you think might be most fun about the assignment.
    • Remember to use the “Week 8” category, good visuals, grammar, spacing, and tags.
    • Use clear references, too. There is a LOT of information on the final paper. So be sure to clearly tell us exactly what part of the post, example, and instructions inspired your comment.
