Some folks, like Samuel had great posts that were really clear and direct. However, I’d encourage many of you to work on writing shorter paragraphs whenever you write online. Master Class (2021) has some great tips to help anyone interested in working on that.
The most common error, however, was relying on personal memory instead of utilizing specific texts to support your ideas. Daryl did a pretty good job with that in his post. He explicitly noted how his information related to and was supported by the text.
To use sources more skillfully, you can also review how I incorporated the Master Class article above or how I used other online resources to provide additional information related to my comments. I hope such use of references, particularly in APA Style, will become pretty second-nature to you by the end of the semester.
