This course seems interesting and I look forward to learning as much as I can. I find myself being critical of studies/polls/research that seem to bring an obvious bias. I have a couple ideas for research that I might want to pursue.
The first is within my current profession, it seems at least anecdotally, that most people are conservative or have more conservative values. I would like to possibly research if this is true and possibly what drives people with this political affiliation to this profession.

My second idea for research would be media bias. It’s impossible to get truly objective information.  There will always be political and personal bias. I want to compare from at least 2 large news sources, the difference in coverage between Trump during his first week and Biden during his first week or maybe in general how they were covered in similar time periods of their presidency.
To be fair, I understand that I too have my own personal biases. The goal is to look at it objectively. I’m not looking to argue any issues (even-though I love debate). It’s more to inform myself and/or others that may be interested.
…and who knows, maybe I will want to change my research idea to something completely different.
