Research is something we use every day in our lives but instead of going to the laptop, most of us can look it up on our phone. Hello everyone I am Louis Fuqua, I am pressuring my degree in Information Networking and Telecommunications with a concentration in Cybersecurity. I am using this class to give me a better understanding of how and what to look for when researching information. In this day in age, it can be very tricky when looking for good accurate information on the web. A lot of pieces are very opinionated and can not always be truthful in what is being talked about. I believe this type of class would be a good learning experience when it comes to getting information. This a class that is required for my degree as well so here we are. As far as knowing how to get the information I am a decent person at retrieving it. But sometimes I get pulled into the opinions of others as well. It can be hard not to sometimes, as Charles Kettering said once, “Research means that you down know, but are willing to find out.” To me, that is our world today, if some people would be willing to find out and learn. We would be living in a whole different world. However I digress, I also wanted to wish everyone the best of luck in this class as well.
