In almost anything you do in life, whether its personal or business you will need to do some type of research to make yourself better to make you understand any topic. There has been several occasions where I have been asked about some topic and my response would be “I need to do some research before I can give a accurate opinion on it”.
On what I might research in this class? To be honest I have no clue right now. My biggest interest is sports and coding. So probably something along those lines, I am sure I could figure something out that would be interesting. One topic that does comes to mind is how has smart phones changed our lives socially. I figure that is a list that could get me started. Other than that, this should be a fun class and I am excited to get started.
I think you idea of researching the impacts of smartphones on society is of great merit. I can still remember the days of the old ‘bag phones’ and how elated people where just to have the ability to make a telephone call in the field. Now, with smartphones being almost as staple an item as the cloths on our backs, I question if society could live without them. It brings to mind the cliche, “The genie is out of the bottle”.
