  1. Great job! Please title your map with your name next time.

  2. And please share with the Facebook group. If you do, be sure to include your Amoeba Questions in your post. Also, please post your map as an image, not a PDF in Facebook.

  3. Do i have to share on Facebook, like i told you last time, i hate this platform and i prefer not using it. I have deleted my facebook account 10 years ago and i had to do one just for this course. I prefer posting the minimal possible for 2 main reasons. First i am at work almost 95% of the time so i can’t access a social media website from there cos they are blocked, second i am already posting on the SL blog site. Forgive me for being blunt but i think it is kind of redundant and not productive.

  4. Being a PT my understanding of pharmacology is limited but if I remember correctly pharmacology can have important ties with epigenetics because certain medications respond to certain genes differently. I think a better understanding of epigenetics could improve medication efficacy.

The ethical considerations are vast and skirt along a fine line. While I agree it would undoubtedly improve health and human performance if used correctly, in the wrong hands it could be devastating. I know this is far fetched but there are a lot recent science fiction movies/tv shows that highlight the potential negatives of physically altering expressed phenotypes. Overall, I like the idea a lot but we’ll have to be diligent to ensure it’s used properly and safely.

  5. Interesting read, thank you for sharing. I am glad you picked the Epigenetics topic because it seems you have interest in the field! When the author has a passion in what they are writing about, it is much more interesting for the readers! I look forward to seeing your thoughts about the morality of this as well as your counter arguments.
